Index | Diabetes Mellitus Diabetes Mellitus means the body has to much blood sugar. Diabetes Mellitus can occur when your body doesn't make enough insulin to keep the blood sugar controlled. Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease in which the body is unable to convert carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into energy due to inadequate use or production of insulin. The two types of Diabetes Mellitus are Type I diabetes mellitus and Type II Diabetes mellitus. |
