Heart Disease takes many forms. Usually, heart disese occurs due to inadequate blood flow to the heart muscle. This occurs when the arteries that supply the heart muscle become partially or completely blocked by cholestral plaque. Obese people are at increased risk of heart disease due to their higher rates of hypercholesterolemia, diabetes and hypertension and lack of a healthier lifestyle such as exercise and good food combinations.
